The Meadows Valley Benefit Golf Tournament will offer scholarships to graduating Meadows Valley High School seniors who plan to attend college next year.  The scholarships are also open to non-traditional applicants who have previously graduated from Meadows Valley High or have received a general education diploma and are residents of Meadows Valley.

Scholarships may be used toward the pursuit of a post-secondary academic or professional/technical school education or an apprenticeship program.  The scholarship committee will select recipients based on need, community involvement, educational/community achievements character, future goals, essay and letters of recommendation.

Applications are available at Meadows Valley High School or by contacting scholarship chairman Loretta McConnor at 208.347.2573.  Completed applications must be submitted by Monday, April 15 to the school, emailed to teammcconnor@frontier.net or mailed to PO Box 263 New Meadows ID 83654.

The scholarship was established in 2003 and is funded by net proceeds from the golf tournament, also known as “The Fosdick” and accompanying activities.  To date $65,400 in scholarships have been awarded to Meadows Valley graduates.
